Hi, I'm new at the sugar baby thing and I was wondering do you give the guys your real name or do you use a fake identity?
Keeping your identity safe is crucial to keeping yourself safe.
There’s three ways of going about this (for me anyways)…
Option One: Give him a fake name right off the bat, one that’s easy to remember and that you’ll respond to (remind yourself of the name on your way to your first date, look in the mirror and tell yourself “I am Mary today, I am Mary today.” 10 points if you can do it with a straight face)
Option Two: Do not give him any name. There’s nothing wrong with not giving him your name until you receive his. Always do a google search when you get his to see what comes up, try to be as thorough as possible going through results (also check LinkedIn), There’s also nothing wrong with asking to see his ID when you first meet (but be prepared to show yours).
Option Three: If you feel COMPLETELY comfortable, give him your real name. I would most likely use option two first until a Skype date, thorough google searching, and then finally be comfortable enough to at least give my real first name.
Remember, there are a lot of weirdos out there!
