I’ve had okay luck with it but most of the guys get clingy really quickly in my personal experience as they are all in unhappy marriages. It’s more of an expression than anything. However, I do think if you know what you’re coming into the sugar bowl for and have realistic expectations and goals, you should be strong enough to not lose yourself and to gain a different view of the world and a variety of experiences that you would have otherwise missed out on. Violence and date rape against women happens in and out of the sugar bowl but I have experienced more and heard of more occurrences outside than in. STIs are a concern for anyone who is sexually active and obviously increases when you choose to have sex with multiple partners. I definitely think most of the pitfalls of both sugar baby relationships and nonsugar relationships can be avoided by making smart choices and I have to say that your whole question seems condescending and has a judgmental tone.

If you’re staying over night with someone I’d say pack a weekender bag and only bring the necessities. I pack a medium sized makeup bag with the essentials: foundation, foundation brush, blush, blush brush, bronzer, bronzer brush, a small eye palette, and lipstick & gloss. I put my necessary toiletries in the travel bottles for flights and always have a few of them stashed under my bathroom counter for impromptu getaways. I try to bring accessories and outfits that can be mixed and matched with staples like a little black dress or a black skirt.
